The Department invites applications for the Warlick-Mannion Scholarship each year. The scholarship was established in honor of Charles Louis Warlick and Nora Patricia Mannion, and is open to undergraduates who will study Classical languages at the University. The scholarship may be renewed upon re-application. Deadline for completed applications is February 11, 2019.

List Classics courses taken in high school and college. Include course title (i.e. beg. Latin I), whether you took it in high school or college and your grade.
Please write an essay (approximately 500 words) on your reasons from studying Classics.
Under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, you may decide whether letters of reference written at your request are to be held confidential or whether they are to be available for your personal inspection. Select one of the following statements followed by your signature so that the referee will be advised of your choice. If I am awarded the Warlick-Mannion Scholarship, I agree to enroll in at least two Latin and/or Greek language courses in the Department of Classics at the University of Georgia during the academic year and to meet for advising each semester with the Department's Undergraduate Coordinator. I understand that the scholarship is for one year only and is renewable only upon successful re-application before the annual February 1 deadline.
